IISER Pune Job for Research Associate (PhD)
Minimum Salary ( न्यूनतम वेतन ) : INR 36000
Pay scale ( वेतन ) : INR 1) Rs. 36,000/- + 30% HRA to Rs 40, 000/- + 30 % HRA based on experience 2) Candidates who have submitted their thesis but not completed defense (i.e.
candidates without provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree), will be designated as SRF and paid Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA till the time of submission of Provisional Ph.D. certificate.
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : PhD. in Chemistry / Physics / Material Science or any other related discipline. Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply, provided they submit proof of submission of thesis at the time of interview.
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Candidates having experience in performing Kinetic Monte Carlo simulations to study reaction kinetics will be preferred
Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :Proven expertise in performing DFT based simulations, computing reaction barriers using Nudged Elastic Band methods.
