Qualification: M.Tech. or equivalent degree, with first class, in any discipline
related to Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering specialization in fluid-thermal sciences/computational fluid dynamics OR BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical/Aerospace or equivalent degree, with first class along with GATE qualification.
Pay Scale: ₹31,000/- per month + HRA, as applicable.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of selection process.
Desirable Qualifications: Strong orientation towards: Fluid Mechanics, Compressible Flows, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Lattice Boltzmann Method, Linux, C++, Parallel Programming on HPC systems and numerical methods.
Job Responsibilities: 1 Working towards formulation, development of c++ code for 2- dimensional and 3-dimensional compressible fluid flow solver using lattice Boltzmann method. 2 Code validation for standard test problems for high Mach number flows. 3 Formulation of turbulent compressible fluid flow simulations. 4 Development of a C++ module for a moderate Knudsen number simulations of compressible flows. 5 Report and presentation of the research work. 6 Administrative activities related to the project
