Qualification: M.Tech or equivalent degree, with first class, in any discipline related to Manufacturing Engineering/Material Science Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or BE/B.Tech Mechanical or equivalent degree, with first class in any discipline that has a course related to Manufacturing Engineering/Material Science Engineering, along with GATE qualification.
Pay Scale: Rs. 31,000/- per month
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of selection process.
Desirable Qualifications: Strong orientation towards advance mathematics, 3D and 4D printing, Shape memory alloy (SMA), microstructure of nickel (Ni)
and titanium (Ti) alloys, mathematical model for smart materials. Strong orientation towards Additive Manufacturing of fused/wire/laser based deposition processes. Familiarity with CAD software such as Solidworks and STL files, 3D printer handling, CNC machine.
Job Responsibilities: 1. Working towards Design and development of 4D printing process. 2. Developing mathematical model for smart material. 3. Fabrication of multi material using 3D printing 4. Integration of mathematical, material, microstructure, programming. 5. Developing simulation and experimental test setups to validate the proposed model. 6. Project report and publication writing 7. Administrative activities related to the project.
