Qualification: For the post of Senior Manager: - B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from any recognized university. For the post of Manager: - Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from any recognized university
Pay Scale: E4 (70,000-2,00,000) or E3 (60,000-1,80,000)
Desirable Qualifications: Qualified in Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level – 5 or Level-4 or Level-3.
Eligibility Criteria: For the post of Senior Manager (Quality Control) when operated in E4 (A)Minimum 8 years of post-qualification work experience. (B) Working in analogous grade/Working in 60,000-1,80,000 (IDA E3) equivalent to Rs. 24,900-50,500 (Pre-revised). The candidate from Private Sector should be drawing a compensation more than Rs.10,00,000/- per annum. Should have experience of at least 4 years in the following areas. (A)Should have work experience in the field of Quality assurance / Quality control (Q.A/Q.C) in major infrastructure works e.g. Metro / Railways / Airports/ Highways/ Large Industrial or commercial or residential buildings etc. (B) Preference will be given to candidate having experience in preparation of QA plan/ manual as per ISO System; finalization of written procedures of QA/QC; association in finalization method statements of inspection, approval of material sources; sampling & site/laboratory testing, follow up for QA, quality deviation review/ of non - conformance, must be well familiar with national and international guidelines of GoI, World Bank, ADB and JICA. (C) Knowledge and controlling the Quality of the Project, formulation of Quality Monitoring Plan. Monitoring of resource mobilization; inventory; testing of materials and workmanship; physical verification of different features; documentation and submission of periodical reports. For the post of Manager (Quality Control) when operated in E3 (A)Working in analogous grade E-3 OR (B) Minimum 02 years of post-qualification work experience (in E2 scale) for officers who have joined directly in E2 Scale. OR (C) Minimum 6 years of post-qualification work experience. The candidate from Private Sector should be drawing a compensation more than Rs.8,00,000/- per annum. Job Responsibilities: The officer will be expected to perform following functions: - (A) Checking & verifying the quality jobs at site & lab of NHSRCL projects. (B) To ensure that all works are being executed as per contract specifications and relevant codes. (C) To inspect, examine, measure and test the materials and workmanship. (D) Implementation of Project Quality Management Plan in accordance with ISO System, Quality System - Model for Quality
Assurance to ensure that all materials, workmanship and work done under the contract meets the requirements of the contract. (E) On -site and off -site surveillance of Quality Management Plan to verify that the quality system is being implemented fully and properly. (F) To ensure Monthly Quality progress reports, Quality Assurance Plan, Non-Conformance Records, Standards, Methods, Statements are properly maintained. (G) Any other job as assigned by management.
