Qualification: Post graduate degree in Botany OR Post graduate degree in professional courses i.e. M..Sc(Ag) in Horticulture/Plant Breeding/Agronomy or other discipline, selected through a process described any one of the following. a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test – ICAR NET, CSIR – UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE b)Scholars who are selected through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies/ institutions such as DST , DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. With two years research experience
Pay Scale: Rs 35000/month Plus HRA @ 8 %
Age Limit: Upper age limit not to exceed 35 years for men and 40 years of for women as on the date of the interview.
Job Responsibilities: Work involves screening of turmeric genotypes for yield and quality, organic plant breeding, comparative multilocational evaluation of turmeric genotypes, germplasm exploration conservation, development of GAP and capacity building programmes.
