Qualification: Full time Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from a recognized University / AICTE approved Institution with specialization in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering/ Naval Architecture / Electrical Engineering /Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering. Officers serving in Indian Navy/Coast Guard of the rank of Commander / Captains of Indian Navy or Officers of equivalent rank of Coast Guard can apply
Pay Scale: Rs. 80000-3%-220000 (E-5)
Desirable Qualifications: Any higher Degree / Diploma / Certificate Course from a recognized University / AICTE approved institution in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Naval Architecture / Project Management or MBA.
Experience Requirements: The candidate should have minimum 13 years Post Qualification experience in ship building/Ship repair industry. Naval Candidate should have work experience in WOT / Design Directorate / Professional Directorate / Trial Agencies / Naval Dockyards and should not be below the rank of Commander of Indian Navy (or equivalent of Coast Guard) with minimum 13 years of service Desirable Experience: Relevant Managerial work experience in the areas of Fabrication / Outfitting / Design / Production / Planning / Cost Estimation / Project Costing / Project Management, Repair and Maintenance, Commercial Functions / Contract Negotiations / Materials Procurement, Product Development, Analysis and Evaluation etc. in Ships and associated peripherals / Engineering systems
