Qualification: Post Graduate degree (MD / DNB) in Community Medicine / PSM / Pharmacy / Pharmacology after MBBS with one year experience (OR) Post
Graduate Diploma in above subjects after MBBS with two years’ experience (OR) MBBS degree recognized by MCI with four years’ experience in medical subjects after MBBS degree
Pay Scale: Rs.75,000/- per month
Age Limit: 40 years
Desirable Qualifications: a) All other things equal, candidates with proven scientific writing skills & good communication skills in English as evidenced by publications either as Primary or Corresponding Author in peer reviewed international journals will be preferred b) Educational Qualification and duration of experience will be relaxed in case of the deserving candidates c) Age relaxation is allowable to corresponding years of work experience in the Research Experience in ICMR
Job Responsibilities: 1.Organize and conduct field and lab research activities 2. Experience in scientific writing communication (English) in peer reviewed international journals and preparation of reports 3. Familiarity with good data management practices 4. Analyze data using statistical software like SPSS and Epi Info 5. Conduct meetings / workshops / training programs 6. Willingness to travel anywhere in India 7. Any other work assigned by the PI / Co-PI / Superior Officer / Director
How To Apply For NIE Vacancy: 1.Bring the filled in application with one set of photocopy of qualification and experience and other testimonials. 2.Candidate should submit all certificates / testimonials in original for verification. Candidates who fail to bring the Original Certificates for written test / Interview will not be considered.
General Instructions: 1.Experience certificate should clearly state the nature of work during the period of employment. 2.No-Objection Certificate from the current employer (for Govt./AB/PSU Servants only). 3.All posts are Contractual for the duration offered. The appointment may be renewed after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance and project requirement. 4.The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIE/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. 5.TA/DA will not be paid by NIE for attending the written test/ interview
