Qualification: Graduate in any discipline preferably with professional Degree/Diploma/Certification in Multi Modal Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Transportation Management etc.
Pay Scale: Maximum of Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand per month only).
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
Experience Requirements: Minimum 05 years; experience in the field of Multi-Modal Logistics/Supply Chain Management / Transportation Management
Job Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for Traffic related work pertaining to NWs and IBP route. 2. Compilation and analyses of present and potential traffic data and preparation and submission of reports. 3. Marketing, regular meeting with shippers/customers with the objective of modal shift of cargo to Inland Waterways. 4. Planning of cargo movement/collection and compilation of rail & road data. Monitor the movement of vessels and loading/unloading at terminals. 5. Organize regular trade meets at various locations. Maintain profile of present and potential customers. 6. Any other work assigned by Management (IWAI).
How To Apply For IWAI Vacancy: The closing/ last date for receipt of applications is 28/02/2020, with application in prescribed proforma, to be addressed to the Director (Admn. & Vig.), IWAI, A-13, Sector-1, Noida - 201301(U.P.), through registered post/ speed post only. The applicant must carry the original certificates and enclose the self-attested copies of certificates, testimonials in support of the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the advertisement, failing which the candidature shall be treated as non-eligible. The decision of the Authority as regard to the eligibility of a candidate or otherwise shall be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
General Instructions: i) Individuals (Non-Government/private/Multinational/consultancy Firms) or Retired Employees from Govt. / Autonomous Bodies with requisite qualifications and experience as prescribed would be eligible for being engaged as consultants. However, the engagement shall not be considered as a case of re-employment. ii) The engagement would be for a fixed period for providing high quality services to IWAI as per offer of Agreement/Letter of engagement. iii) The engagement would be on full time basis, unless specified, and they would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of engagement with IWAI. iv) Working hours would be from 9:30 am to 6:00pm IST Head Office, Noida (05 days of the week) and 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM IST (06 days of the week) Guwahati and Kochi Regional Office during the working days including half hour lunch break in between. v) Attendance will have to be marked in the Bio-Metric System, installed at the IWAI office.
