Qualification: Master’s degree or its equivalent with first Class in Management /Economics /Social Sciences /Public Policy from a recognized university/Institute
Pay Scale: Consolidated Emoluments: Rs.65,000/- pm approx
Age Limit: Preferably below 40 years
Desirable Qualifications: a) Ph.D. degree in Management /Economics /Social Sciences / Public Policy. b) Experience in any of the premier educational / research Institutes. c) Strong oral and written communications in English. d) Computer proficiency in MS-Office and other related software. e) Experience in dealing with funding agencies such as Govt. Ministries, Ford, Gates Foundation, World Bank, UGC and others.
Experience Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in handling research projects in Academic or non-academic Institute / University / Central or State Government Department / Autonomous Bodies /Public Sector Undertakings.
Job Responsibilities: Overall coordination of Projects related activities in the Institute including but not limited to : 1. Identify calls for research proposals from suitable funding agencies and dissemination. 2. Assist in preparing project proposals, progress reports and minutes of meeting. 3. Regular interaction with project investigators and project staff. 4. Coordination of various budgeting/financial Utilization certificate, data. 5. Ensuring project related activities are carried out on time and within planned budget in coordination with project in-charge. 6. Serve as a resource to institute faculty and research staff on administrative and operational processes. 7. Designing and organizing workshops/ seminars/conferences. 8. Content generation for Institute newsletters, website, social media etc. 9. Coordination and communication with multiple stakeholder agencies, tendering and procurement.
